LinkedIn data stolen

According to CNN, data from millions of people has been stolen by computer hackers. This includes 500 million members of the website 'LinkedIn'.

LinkedIn is a social media website but it's different from Facebook because it's used for work. People connect with their colleagues on LinkedIn so they can stay in touch if they move jobs.


On Facebook, people post pictures of their holidays. While on LinkedIn, people post about their work projects. Some people use LinkedIn to find customers for their business.


The stolen data includes email addresses and phone numbers. Some people are worried that the hackers will use this data for the wrong reasons.
