The biggest soccer teams in Europe are making a new league. The new league includes the best teams from every country. This means that Manchester United will play Real Madrid much more often.
The new league is being called the ‘European Super League’ - because it will have the best teams. However, some big teams from Germany and France don’t want to sign-up to the competition yet, because they don’t know if the idea will work.
Many people are unhappy about the ‘European Super League’. They don’t like the idea because they say it will hurt small clubs who are not included. The ‘European Super League’ is planned to start in 2024.
